I survived our trip to Ireland, despite some interesting traffic situations. The few times that I drove the car, I had no problems. However, I'd already had all fear scared out of my by riding as a passenger :) I've posted a couple of pictures over on my Flickr account. My travelling for the summer is not complete though! Next weekend I'm heading off to Maryland to be with some friends who I haven't seen in a while. Then, at the end of the month, I'll be in Atlanta attending the Romance Writers of America conference. I'm really excited as it's been a few years since I could join in on the fun. This should be a blow-out happening. If you live in the area, please mark the "Readers for Life" Literacy Signing on your calendars. I won't be participating, but there will be over 500 romance and erotic romance authors to choose from. All proceeds go to benefit local and national literacy efforts. In writing news, I just turned in my submission for Amber Heat's upcoming Lusty League Amber Pax. The title is Cimmerean League: Revelations. Here's a quick blurb: As a member of the personal security force of the leader of the Cimmerean League, Bolt is known for his super strength. When the life of the woman he has lusted after is endangered, he must reveal to her his secret ability, the ability to connect with her psychically. a Plan B. I caught up on a lot of my TBR pile while I was in Ireland and here are but a few of my favorites. MISLED by Sylvia Day - Special Agent Derek Atkinson has been waiting long enough to put his hands on bounty hunter Sable Taylor. Only, Sable's got a whole different agenda in mind. PISCES including No Secrets by Rae Morgan and Redemption by Sherrill Quinn - (Can you tell by now that I *lurve* Sherrill's writing?) Two wonderful short stories packed into one volume helped make my trip. NO SECRETS concludes Rae Morgan's "Coven of the Wolf"* series with Boris Petrov rolling back into Bear Hollow, Tennessee to claim his mate, feisty Sheriff Debby Teague. REDEMPTION follows Damon Stratham as he tries to make right his wrongs in life by protecting Abby McNeil. *The "Coven of the Wolf" series is best read in order: THE TROUBLE WITH HARRY by Myla Jackson - A rugged archaeologist from 1924 touches the wrong stone and finds himself transported to modern day New York City. Bad enough he's a fish out of water, but he's also now required to grant every wish of the beautiful woman who freed him from the bottle he'd been cursed into.
