Spring has sprung and the weather is as wildly unpredictable as usual this time of year where I live. I cannot wait for the warmer weather to finally get here for good. I'm sure those of you in the southern hemisphere are dreading the onset of winter, but I am sick of it! The latest round of edits are done for both stories I have contracted with Ellora's Cave, so I'm just waiting to hear back from my editor on any more. The joys of being a writer ;) I was so frustrated with the set I was working on on Sunday that I cut my finger open! Of course, my editor wouldn't let me out of edits for a measly cut finger, no matter how bloody, so I finished and turned them in. I especially enjoyed experiencing the different locations. Everything
was described so vividly I had no trouble recognizing ancient
Egypt and the ceremony was also filled with many scintillating
details.

night and mortals with psychic powers. Fast paced with explicit
sex scenes, this story draws one in quickly and ends much too
soon.

Spring Storm is a fast, scorching read that I experienced quick
as a flash. The dialogue was delightful and Aiden and Gwyn were
a wonderful pair who had great chemistry!

To Taste Temptation by Elizabeth Hoyt - I'm sure some of you have heard of Elizabeth before, but if you haven't run out and get one of her older books to tide you over until this one comes out in May. One of the benefits of being a librarian is that I sometimes get my hands on ARCs, and man, am I ever glad I got my hands on this one! Georgian England. A widow who's lost every man who's cared for her. A colonial merchant who's on the search for the traitor that betrayed his regiment to the French during the French-Indian Wars. Stolen identities. Barriers of class. The ravages of post-traumatic stress disorder way before it was known. Steaming hot lust that can't be denied. This book has it all and delivers! A recipe I made recently and enjoyed: Pesto! In food processor, place about a 1/4 pound hunk of parmiggiano-reggiano cheese and pulse until ground. Feed in a handful each of basil and parsley, three full stems of green onions (edges chopped off), and two cloves of garlic. Pulse until finely ground. Set blade to constant speed (about medium) and stream in extra-virgin olive oil. As a variation, substitute sage for basil and add in walnuts. Enjoy over pork or pasta! CONTACT INFORMATION
